Your turn to be cared for
Memekas began with a simple realization: I was taking care of everyone but myself. Like so many women, I poured into my family, my work, and the people I love, and quietly put my own needs last.
So I made a promise to start choosing myself, one small ritual at a time. Memekas is that promise, shared with you. Every piece here is chosen to help you slow down, feel good in your skin, and make space for the care you give everyone else.
You don't need a spa appointment or a free afternoon. You just need a moment that's yours.
The meaning behind our name
Our name, memekas (meh-MEH-kahs), means "butterfly" in the Lenape (Delaware) language, the language of our founder's great-grandmother's people. We chose it to honor her. Like the butterfly, we believe in transformation — in taking the time to care for yourself, and emerging as who you were always meant to be.
